What data do we collect?

We usually collect data directly from you (e.g., forms, meetings, calls, online interactions) or from third parties you authorise (e.g., your accountant or product provider). Where lawful and appropriate, we may also collect data from publicly available sources.

We only collect special category data (e.g., health information for protection products) with your explicit consent or where another UK GDPR condition applies.

How is the collected data used?

Legal bases: We rely on one or more lawful bases under UK GDPR, including performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests (e.g., running our business and providing services responsibly) and, where required, your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, which will not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

To whom do we disclose information?

We may share personal data with trusted third parties, subject to appropriate safeguards, such as:

• Service providers supporting our products and services (e.g., administrators, custodians, insurers, investment managers, IT and mailing providers)
• Banks and financial institutions
• Professional advisers appointed by you or us (where appropriate)
• Referring or introducing firms (where appropriate)
• Regulators, law enforcement and public authorities where required by law
• Scheme employers, trustees or administrators for pensions where applicable
• Personal representatives or beneficiaries where relevant

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or other approved mechanisms).

Access and
Correction

Can I access and correct my information?

You have rights under UK GDPR, including to request access to your personal data, to rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and to object to certain processing. You also have rights in relation to automated decision-making and profiling (we will tell you if these apply).

We aim to keep your information accurate and up to date. If you believe any information we hold is inaccurate or incomplete, please contact us and we will correct it where appropriate.

Your Right to Lodge a Complaint

How do we safeguard your information?

We use a combination of technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, staff training and regular oversight of third-party providers. Access to personal data is limited to authorised personnel who need it to perform their roles.
